The telephonic conversation with Mrunalini was full of butter and sugar. When I went to pickup the vehicle they asked to leave my original passport or DL with them,I said
That I cannot do the same so they asked me for a security deposit of 2500/-. To which I agreed and the pickup was done smoothly. The Car already had few dents and scratches but they took pictures of the car for their reference which is totally perfect. The journey was splendid and i figured out that Alto is a perfect Car for the Himalayas. Now comes the twist, we went to return the Car and their inspection manager inspected the Car and found 2 scratches, to which i explained that it was inevitable and however they are minor scratches (the Car had worse dents when i took the car). The Inspectection manager had some experience to handling this, he genuinly put the charge of 1K for the 2 scratches which was perfect but when he submitted the inspection report to Mrunalini she spoke him something in Assamese and sent him down again. I too went along with him, i was shocked to see that he striked out the light scratches and wrote Heavy scraches & then striked 1K an wrote 2.5K (which was my security deposit). So I’M not sure who to blame, awe rides or Mrunalini for being an sugar coated poisom. We Compalned to the centrr head and he said, he would submit the bill from the workshop after remkvong those scratches and then I Can verify. its been a month already and nothing happend. Im not crying for 2.5K but for cheating customers.
