Right from procuring the liability letter request till submitting a final settlement, I have faced one of the worst bank services in my life. The customer care centre is clueless of who took the 1st request and where does it stand in the system. “15 working days” to issue a letter has taken over 30 days and that too after me relentlessly following-up on mails and calls asking for the status.
Once the letter is given, there is no break-up or explanation of what the amount includes. A liability letter contains the complete overdue amount, but still there are unclear add-on charges which were asked to pay, unless which the settlement cheque will not be issued was the answer.
Ms. Namrata from the liability recovery department had the most unethical and ‘i don’t care a damn’ attitude. She definitely needs counselling on handling clients, who she believes are dumb. Her tone of speaking to the customers, attitude towards responses is pathetic. She needs to learn from her junior (Sehar) on how to speak to customers. When the customer is asking questions she just mummers to herself, showing disgust in even talking to the person in front of her.
Lastly once a cheque is settled, a clearance letter should take 7 days or 15 days on the max. “Our bank has policy of giving it after 35 days” is the reply I get. 1 day to clear the monies and 34 days to type a letter that your customer is no longer due of any charges??? Emirates NBD has far better understanding in the matter than Dubai First.
I will definitely advise all my friends and colleagues to immediately terminate any relations/dealing with Dubai First Bank or like I mentioned, Dubai Last Bank.

I Had a very bad experience with this Dubai first or you can call it Dubai Last bank or financial institution, the customer service is very impolite and very rude and never help in anything, collection department is the worst department ever, I had A lot of unclear charges ( interests and finance charges ) they never called me of what I have to pay or when is the due date to pay NEVER, they never answered me for a single question or gave me a clear clarification about the card or the charges or the amount, It is the worst bank I have ever met in my Life.
    I advise everyone not to deal with this institution Never, If you want to be in a debt for your whole life and if you want someone to steal your money go to Dubai first …
