We purchased sapphire gold bangles from Kothari Jewellers Pune, couple of months back ie in August 2017, did the transaction from Canada and got it shipped to Indian address. They were very good when placing the order and shipment was on time as promised. When we visited India in September 2017, when my daughter wore the bangle for the first day one of the sapphire stone fell and got lost. This was due to poor quality of workmanship. I tried to contact Kothari Jewellers over phone and Whatsup and informed them about the issue of the quality of stone fixing on the bangle, there response was very poor. They are asking me to get it fixed as it will cost them a lot to fix if I ship it to them. I informed them I will get it fixed at my own cost but I informed them to provide me the sapphire stone, after many request they have still not bothered to reply to my request. I suggest to all of you not to purchase jewelry from them as there workmanship is very bad and they don’t care for customer relationship once they have done their business with you. Very bad Jeweller in India. At the same time I purchased Gold Ruby bangle from Malabar Jewellers in India, they shipped the bangle without lock as shown on the web site picture. I immediately informed them one I received the bangle from them. Their action was immediate , very good customer service, they sent their courier got it collected and new bangles was shipped back within short period of time. I recommend this jewelry shop to all but don’t do business with Kothari Jewellers Pune. They are not fit for international consumers.
