Hi,

Ordered a product in myntra and returned it due to quality issue.

Placed On: 24 Sep 2017
Order No: 1058111-3166894-932240.

After several times of follow up myntra is claiming that a refund initiated to my SBI Bank on october -7-2017 but as of today the amount is not credited(26-12-2017). I have reached the Escalation team of myntra who will be looking at this issue but im surprised the answers that i have received “Please check with the bank” that is the only word.And sharing one link to file a compaint( https://cms.onlinesbi.com/CMS/ ) when i try to file a compaint it is asking for transcaionid and category of compaint. here Myntra team is failing to provide the details.

When i check with the bank they said that there is no transaction found regarding the said amount and the Bank manager replied to myntra team([email protected]) with below words

Dear Sir,

We refer to the trail mail and advise you that an amount of Rs 261.97 has been credited to the customers account number ********667 on 03.10.2017. The amount of Rs 3,755.36 has not been credited to the said account.
Therefore, you are advised to look into it and settle the matter.

Dear Myntra and SBI team,

Further to our discussions against issue on refund amount not credit to the sbi bank

The final option myntra suggested is to file a CHARGE BACK against the bank regarding the transcation which is happened on 20-Sep-2017 at myntra site.

The bank team is saying that as it is a succesful transcation to myntra and they are not able to file a charge back against it and the only possible ways to file a charge back is when the transcation gets failure or suspended then they can file the same.

Bank team is clearly saying that they have verified in all the areas and they are not able to find any information regarding the first transaction / reference number(RRN- 728000103594) shared by myntra. where as the second transaction is successful and amount is credited to bank.

Myntra team,
Adding the SBI bank team in the email thread in-order not to have any communication gap. Please don’t scare to reply-all when the shared transaction details are genuine.
Also don’t share me again the same link(https://cms.onlinesbi.com/CMS/) as you are doing in the previous emails. if you guys have any understanding under which category the complaint need to be registered let me know the steps.

I’m surprised to hear back from myntra escalation team over phone saying that they don’t have understanding about categories to register complaint. You should have all templates handy to address the issue.

Before taking the Legal Action i request both the teams to re-check and settle down the matter.

Bank team not able to find any information regarding the given transaction/reference number. I dont understand whether bank people are failing to find the details or myntra has given the wrong details.

  1. I canceed my order in feb 2020 and i havent yet received my refund of Rs.2466. Its been 5 months now!! Myntra shows “refund successful” but my account isnt credited. I reached out to the bank with the reference id of the transaction, the bank said it hadnt received any refunds from myntra . I am frustrated running back and forth from bank to myntra helpline . Its been 5 months now! This is the worst platform i have ever experienced in online shopping.
