I used to get regular calls from the representatives of quickjobzz.com on my mobile. I used to decline the calls initially but on 12th November 2016 I got interested in their offer. The caller shared with me the profiles of various jobs with some of the leading global companies in Middle East (Dubai/ Doha) and Australia. The job profile matched with my present field and I got interested in them. The caller asked me to register my self at their website. He explained that there would a one time registration fee and then they can keep on sending me regular job openings which I can apply. I agreed for the payment. He insisted that I open their website and he can guide me on how to make the payment over the phone itself. I felt a bit awkward but unsuspectingly I did as he guided me. I made the payment and I also received an invoice from the company on my mail in 5 minutes. The person called me again and asked If he can pass on the call to his senior who would discuss the available profiles with me. I agreed and the call was transferred to another person. This guy welcomed me in the quickjobzz family and after customary talks asked me to buy 3 more products from the site. When I checked the products which were mainly for resume building, I declined to buy them. He then told me that if I do not buy these products my profile would not be sent to the prospective employers . I strongly disagreed with him and told him that I was never informed about further purchases when I was registering. He disconnected the line on this. Since it was a call through VOIP I could not call back him. I called on the customer care of the company and sought refund. They said they would look into the case and get back to me. I went through their terms and condition and immediately applied for the refund. After couple of mail reminders they responded that I need to send my ID copy and Bank details to them to process the refund. I filled the refund form and sent the ID copy. When after 15 days I didn’t get any response from them I again sent them a reminder mail to which they responded that it would take 30 days to process the refund. I again reminded them after few days, but they didn’t respond. After a couple of mails they responded that the refund is in process. It’s been 4 months now and am still awaiting refund. Their executives still keep on calling me and the moment you tell that you were expecting a call regarding refund they disconnect the line. Please keep away from the calls of the company, they are fraudsters conning people over phone with lucrative offers which never exists.
