I booked a Hyundai Verna Automatic Transmission Car with an initial booking amount of Rs 3, 11, 000 paid on 29th May 2018 (booking day) on the promise of Hyundai’s sub dealer Auto Splash that I will receive the car within 10 working days from the booking day.

Thereafter, I was asked to pay the remaining balance amount, of purchase price at the behest of delivering the car in few days. Placing the reliance on their promise that car would be delivered in 7 day, I paid the balance amount of Rs 11, 09, 000 on 11th June 2018 .

The booking amount was paid to Auto Splash’s executive named Lakshmi. However, despite making the FULL PAYMENT OF RS. 14, 20, 000, the car is not delivered to me yet.

I made several request calls to follow up on delivery of my car as per their promises. Instead of helping me, I was given a terrible customer service experience. I was mentally harassed and misbehaved over calls. To give an instance, another executive Gauri (who claims to be the boss), rudely told me that she can’t do anything since the car has not landed and I could do whatever I wanted to.

It has been a continuous deliberate delay on their part. I was promised delivery of the car on every Saturday, however, every Friday I was told by a new phone representative that I will receive the car next Saturday. I spoke to yet another executive named Nita (who claims to be another boss) from Auto Splash, I was shockingly informed that I will not receive my car that week again and I could do whatever I liked.

When I told her I have had enough of the lies and deceit and was totally frustrated, she asked me to send a cancellation mail and I will get my money back only after 15 working days.

I have paid Rs. 14, 20, 000 upfront in good faith and neither am I getting the car, nor am I getting satisfactory responses and on the contrary misbehaved. I am defrauded and cheated by auto splash. Why my hard earned money was taken at the first place when their intention was never to deliver the car?

It’s a clear case of cheating.

Hence, I’d like to bring this entire case to your notice, and I also cancel the booking of the car. I will never buy any Hyundai car and all my trust in the brand is lost

I am highly disappointed that international brand like Hyundai can let this happen to its decade old customer.

Sai Hyundai Dahisar there were 2 gentlemen one named Kamlesh and the other named Dhaval. They helped me track down the vehicle with the chassis and engine number and told me that the car was in their possession but they could not hand it over to me since, Auto Splash has not paid them. Finally after 3 months of lies deceit and heartburn I got my car from Kamlesh in Sai Hyundai.

On 5 October 2018 I again received a call from Kamlesh – Sai Hyundai asking for details of my payment, since the same incident has happened with another victim like me. I told him that I have received the car, made the payment and got the RC in my name, so I was not willing to go through all this mess again.

It is my humble request that these crooks need to be stopped and Hyundai needs to protect their customers. They have to get to the bottom of this scam and not bother innocent people like me.
