I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Jewellers
The issue that I have experienced was: I have always used a local Watch smiths for replacement battery for my Rotary watch .Due to Lockdown I went to Hinds Orpington.Assistant had to order battery not stocked returned when in .Took assistant half an hour to fit .Put watch on wrist then noted not working.Assistant took watch away after another half hour another assistant returned & stated “watch faulty £90 to repair” .I rejected offer went to a Watch Smiths .Technition stated fitting of battery had damaged mechanism .Offered repair & new battery for £60.Duly collected excellent.Contacted Hinds numerous e mails refused to pay anything
It occurred on: 16/08/2021
This meant that very annoyed totally incompetent staff wasting time appalling cusdtomer attitudes
Pay for new mecanism & time I spent pursuing £80
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.
