House Joy – Refund of booking advance

Hi have paid Rs. 5 lakh booking advance to Housejoy in September 2021 hoping that we will be able construct our house hassle free. The marketing guys gave all kind of assurance and made us to pay Rs. 5 lakhs.

After making the payment, the marketing person Manish stopped taking our calls and the project manager has sent a BOQ with many additional cost which were not told earlier. The additional cost were 4 times more than the market prices and when we raised this issue, they threatened that if we dont agree to this we will lose our booking advance.

We have escalated this with many people and since we did not got any positive response, we had to terminate the booking agreement and made request for cancellation and repayment of booking advance As per the agreement, if the customer is not satisfied, the advance is to be returned.

All the concerned person are either left the company or they are not taking our calls. This is clearly a bogus company where they collect the booking advance and they never return. We are planning to file police complaint if our advance money is not returned.

* Enter your personal information (email will not be published)
* Get refund / replacement / damages from House Joy.
