My this year’s order no. IGP719139 through India Gifts portal.com was for shipment to the US on account of rakshabandhan. i had placed an order for the below mentioned items: 1 X Rudraksh with 225 Grams Kaju Katli : Rakhi Sweets to USA : US$23.62, 1 X Godiva sundae : US$22.75. the shipment got deliverd on 01st september. The rakhi and kaju katli box were part of the package. however the gondiva sundae for which i have paid abt 24$ was not part of the shipment. i am really shocked that such a reputed website should indulge in fooling the public this way. Last year also i had a bad experience wherein the product that i had ordered and the product that got delivered to US were just not in sync. i had ordered for expensive sweets and some simple pedas got delivered. Indulging in this kind of petty cheating is very bad for the websites reputation in the long term. i called on the customer support number today on 2nd sept and gave the complete details to a representative who has promised to look into this on priority. All i wanted was that the missing product should be immediately delivered to the same US address and a confirmation sent to me. However, today is the 10th of September and there is not revert at all. The customer support numbers are only for name sake…no support at all. So friends think 100 times before ordering anything expensive thru this website. There are 99% chances that all of it or most of it may not get delivered at all.
