I’m emotionally drained from the endless lies and fake promises from Indiatimes. I ordered a SONY MIRRORLESS DIGITAL CAMERA – NEX 5RL (WITH 16-50mm LENS KIT) on 22nd October 2013 (Tuesday) at 10.52pm, paid it by debit card, and was promised that the product will be delivered latest by 1st November 2013.
By 25th October 2013, I still did not receive any update from Indiatimes. As I was very concern of my product’s delivery, I made an online complaint via Indiatimes website. I got an auto-general email from Indiatimes confirming that my complain was received successfully and they would “do their best to assist me”. Unfortunately, I received no follow up as promised.
On 29th October 2013 (Tuesday), I decided to call the customer service about my worries. They asked me to call again after 5pm so I can file a complain about the delayed shipment. So, I called them again and complained under case id 1143576.
The next day, my case manager, MR. DEEPAK SHARMA, called me and requested me to wait for 24-48 hours to solve the problem. And yet, that’s the only call I ever received from him. I called the customer service again and again to speak to my case manager, and they refused me with many excuses and promised me that my case manager will call me back. But he didn’t.
Instead I got a call from MR. JITESH VASWANI on 31st October 2013 claiming that he’s a supervisor and requested me another 24 hours. As I was very helpless, I obliged to his request. But until today (4th November 2013, I received no further calls from Indiatimes. I have made lots of calls to their customer service, but they just ask me to wait without giving a proper solution. I can’t even speak to the person in charged of my case.
I seriously disappointed with the way Indiatimes dealing with the customers. I feel cheated and I hope everyone will stay away from this company. Please spend your money to someone that truly care about you.
