Good day
I am writing to you with reference to my Etisalat connection fixed LTE line for villa No. B371 Warsan Village. I have rented the mentioned villa from the 15th of May 2017 and prior renting the same I had visited Etisalat business center at Al Tawar for inquiring about the internet / phone connection
I was confirmed by Etisalat that there is no fiber optic connection and they would provide me a fixed LTE connection. Based on this confirmation I signed the agreement with my Landlord for an one year rental contract. After 7 days of continuous follow up with Etisalat, they scheduled the installation of the same last Friday at 4pm.
I was informed by the site installation engineer on Friday the 13th of May that Nakheel had informed Etisalat not to proceed with any fixed LTE connections due to some dispute between Nakheel and Etisalat.
I have many friends who have already rented out some villas and have obtained the same connection in Warsan Village. I once again visited the business center at Al Tawar last morning and they confirmed the same.
As you would know that kids are currently facing the high school examinations and require Internet for their study revisions etc. This has put me in a tremendous situation whereby I have shifted and donot have any internet connection to facilitate my kids studies for the examinations
I hear by request you to kindly look into this matter on an urgent basis to ensure I have the fixed LTE connection during the interim of Etisalat completing the fiber optic connection.
You should stop owners from renting their villas until you resolve the same matter and just provide the connection for the existing tenants.
Further to this mail to Nakheel and Etisalat management, its now 2 months and we are yet to receive any solution
