I am holding SBI credit card received telephone call on 25th Sep 2014 from (+917827483324) on my mobile number behalf of SBI offering SBI discount card along with some gifts.
The lady on phone introduced herself as from SBI and provided my card details. She also explained me the offer and asked me to provide required details to other person to process the request. After some time other person from SBI has called on my phone and explain the same offer and asked me to provide OTP No. which I have received on phone.
I have asked him why does he need that so he told me it is required to process the request to offer the discount card and mentioned gifts.
Hence I have provided the same to him and I got the SMS from SBI mentioning the transaction of 6999/- Rs on my account. SMS alert says “Transaction of Rs 6999 made on SBI card at Oberoi_EPayKerela”
Later on when I contacted SBI customer care they told me it was Fraud call and submit the dispute form SBI email ID.
Kindly investigate this serious matter.

I got a similar call on the 25th from the same number for Citibank credit card.
The modus operandi in my case was that they were issuing a new chip and pin card to replace my existing one.
The OTP was taken in my case too as a confirmation for issuance of new card and I realized that a fraud has happened when I saw a transaction was made to Oberoi EPay kerela for 6999.
I have reported this to Citibank and await to see the results of their investigation.
Wondering how many other people were conned like this by these elements.
