I bought a BSNL Pantel Tablet WS 707C (IMEI No: 911305500034757) dated 22-04-2013 which started giving problem in the month of August’13 when several lines emerged on the display of the tablet. I finally searched for the service centre details of Pantel and since I am resident of Faridabad, I went to Faridabad Service Centre (Bigstore Services) and they provided me with the job card and said that it will take around 15 days to get it back as they need to send it to Pantel. I called after 15 days and came to know that the service center is yet to receive the tablet from Pantel. The response was same even when I called back after 30 days i.e. 1 month from the date i submitted the tablet. I finally called on 19th Oct’13 and came to know that the service center has received the tablet and I can collect the same from them. I went to the service center and got to know that Pantel has sent a replacement tablet and the service centre representative told me that though the battery of the tablet is fully depleted, it will take time to charge the same to check the display and other functionalities. He told me to take the tablet and check it later after charging the same for some time. I came back and charged the same for about an hour only to notice that there’s no display coming in the tablet though sound is coming when it is getting switched on. I would like to get my money back as I’ve already wasted enough of my petrol, time and patience to no avail. Please help as I would like to file a case in consumer court.
