Practo – Grievance against Delay in submission of Lab Reports

Dear Sir/Ma’m

I am writing reference to the Practo Order No.PRA-010777 in name of Sarika Bhatia wherein the simple blood tests were to be conducted at Medcis Pathlabs India Pvt Ltd.,Naraina, Delhi. The sample were given to the representative on 7th December 2017 and I was told by Practo Customer Care that I will be getting the reports by 8 pm on the same day. I have received the payment link after repeated requests and the payment of Rs.650 was made on the same day. The appointment with the doctor was fixed accordingly but the reports never came on 7th. As I continued the follow up, the customer care at Practo then told that the reports will definitely reach before 11 am tomorrow. The patient continued to suffer but the reports didn’t came by the promised time. I was repeatedly sending mails and making calls to Practo to get the reports and then I got the confirmation that the reports will reach by 8 pm on 8th December. To my utter dissatisfaction the reports didn’t came on that day as well. The patient’s condition continued to deteriorate but the doctor couldn’t start the course of treatment without seeing the reports. As a matter of urgency the tests were then done at another laboratory in order to get the reports on urgent basis and the course of treatment started accordingly.
The reports through Practo thus became totally redundant however the same were finally mailed to us at around 11:00 am on 9th Dec 2017 which is more than 55 hours after getting the tests done. The Practo’s response in this situation was total unprofessional and they were totally un-compassionate about the seriousness of the situation. I was therefore made to pay twice for the same tests and had to go through immense suffering arising due to delay in the start of course of medicine. Therefore as a bare minimum I have requested Practo to arrange for the complete refund of the charges which Practo has refused.

You are therefore requested to take the necessary action and arrange me the refund.
