We were driving in our Honda city car no.TS08EA 007 purchased from Greenhonda dealer near Nagole in Hyderabad,for attending a meeting and when we were near Begumpet in Hyderabad suddenly the right side front tyre burst and the vehicle collapsed on the driver side and to stop the car my driver pulled the hand brake as we were in the midst of traffic in the heart of the city resulting in extensive damage to the car with the front airbags opening both on driver side and front seat left.The company executive of Goodyear refused the claim it was due to a defective tyre as the vehicle had done only 27000 km and also it was ascertained by the workshop technician that the tyres were weak on the belting. We also have a copy of the F. I.R filed with the concerned police station mentioning the cause of damage/ accident.
