Rupeek Gold Loan
My interest is due on August 30, 2023, but I paid 1 day early, on August 29, 2023. When I attempted to pay on September 30, 2023, it indicated 7922 as interest even though I paid the entire amount due. Why is there an additional charge?
Once more I tried to pay using the rupeek app on October 30, 2023, but the interest payment option was not visible. I called the rupeek sales executive, who gave me a referral for the gold loan application process, and he promised to let me know. However, I never heard back from the rupeek team regarding interest payment. I received a call from a service center yesterday regarding the renewal of my gold loan.
I told her that I was having trouble seeing the interest payment option in the app, and she advised me to send her a letter.
I filed a complaint about this and, after 20 minutes, received a call from the service center saying that your payment interest option was now operational. I told them that this was not my fault and that the issue was with the Rupeek app because it did not display interest. I told them that I would not pay the additional charges because they were making me pay the full amount today. Later, I received a call from the Rupeek team requesting that you pay the interest of Rs. 11095.
