I am writing to raise a formal complaint and request an immediate refund for the services I purchased on 24th Feb 2026 from shine.com, which I have not used.
Immediately after the payment, I attempted to contact customer support at 0120-6903333 and 0120-6903334, but none of the calls connected. I also raised a concern via email; however, I have not received any update. Therefore, I am submitting this request again.
I paid approximately ₹85,000 less than 24 hours ago for Shine.com services. Shortly after making the payment, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional ₹39293 (Jobs on the Move and Professional Career Management) to receive job links and continue with the process. After already paying a substantial amount, I am now being asked to make further payments for services that were neither clearly disclosed nor agreed to at the time of purchase.
I am concerned about the lack of transparency. These mandatory add-on charges were not mentioned or displayed on the Shine portal prior to the purchase. The omission of such critical details is misleading and unfair to customers.
Since the purchase was made only yesterday, less than 24 hours have passed, and I have not used any of the services, I do not wish to proceed further. Therefore, I request a full refund of the amount paid.
