I wanted to share my recent experience with a website called Abarahifab, as a cautionary tale. A couple of weeks ago, I was looking for a cotton kurta online and came across their site. I loved their collection and decided to place an order for a kurta set priced at ₹858, opting for Cash on Delivery (COD) as the payment method. I provided my contact number and address but didn’t receive any confirmation message or email. Since it was COD, I wasn’t too worried about it at the time.
Days went by, and I forgot about the order until yesterday. While I was at work, my maid called to say a parcel had arrived, and the delivery person was asking for ₹858. Hearing that amount, I got reminded of my order. To be completely sure, I asked her to send me a photo of the parcel. She did, and everything seemed correct, with my name and address on it. I paid via Google Pay, and maidcollected the parcel.
When I got home and opened the package, I was shocked to find an old, worn-out kurta wrapped in a plastic bag. Feeling uneasy, I immediately searched for reviews of the brand online and discovered that it’s a scam. They have no legitimate contact information, phone number, or email address to reach out to.
It seems many others have also been tricked by this site. I just wanted to warn you all to be careful when ordering anything online. Always read reviews thoroughly before making a purchase. Stay safe out there!
