My name is Paul Goss, when i closed my account down back in 2014 i made sure ALL credit cards were paid up in full before my departure and all accounts settled. In doing so i always make sure this is done. When i returned back to the UAE i went back to the bank and reopened my account as normal, however there was a discrepancy within the credit card account as the collections department had made a mistake. With this the bank sorted all the issues out as they had the information that ALL accounts were in fact paid up in full. so at the time all was sorted out. However, now this issue has shown up on my credit score from the credit bureau and this now has stopped all my applications for going forward with my bank HSBC. I
as you can imagine i am not happy and i need this sorting out. I have been to the branch of ADCB in Greens and had a wonderful lady help me, to which she has said that she cannot help me in this case and i have to go to Collections.
My account was with the bank and only the bank. this issue should be raised to the highest level within the bank and get iit sorted out.
