My name is Milan Parmar. I was in a relationship with Alice Gwynne-Duggan. During this time, she was physically and emotionally abusive to me. She would not let me have other women as friends and would take my phone away to block them. She would repeatedly hit me and throw stuff at me. She would call me names and other abuse. I often had to hide the scars from her abuse and this took both a physical and emotional toll on me.
Alice Gwynne-Duggan is a very dangerous person. I am putting my testimony on record, so that others are not hurt or abused by her like I was. I was too scared to report her at the time, feeling that I would be made out to be the abuser, through her manipulation. But I want to speak out so that others will feel the courage to be able to do so as well.
