BabyMonk – Ordered Clothes

One of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had.

Order #80508 placed on 19 December worth ₹7,562.45.
Out of 3 items, 1 item was promised in 5–7 days and was never delivered, even after 30+ days. Despite this, the brand refused to cancel or refund the undelivered item.

At checkout, BabyMonk claims 7-day return & exchange, but once you face an issue, they conveniently point to a hidden refund & cancellation policy (buried deep on the website) stating:

No cancellations after order placement

Refunds only via store credit

This is extremely misleading and unfair. A customer cannot be expected to wait indefinitely for an item promised in 5–7 days and still be denied cancellation.

The other 2 items, despite different delivery timelines (one 5–7 days, one 30 days), were both delivered together after ~30 days. When we tried to return them:

We were told to ship the products back at our own cost

Refund would be given only as store credit

Why would any customer want store credit from a brand they no longer trust?

Additional red flags:

No customer care phone number

Only slow, unhelpful email responses

Policies designed to block refunds and push store credit

Zero accountability for delayed or non-delivered orders

This brand’s policies feel structured to trap customers after payment. Please think multiple times before ordering, especially if you expect timely delivery or a fair refund process.

Highly disappointing and not recommended.
