I was compelled to pay Rs. 12000 via Google Pay Transfer and the remaining amount via EMI with a loan amount of Rs. 77000/-with an EMI of Rs. 5133/-for the educational product made by Byjus for my daughter.
The marketing executive coerced me and psychologically blackmailed my spouse by offering an instant enrollment deal of Rs. 5,000 without allowing her to reflect.
Without providing any explanation regarding the cancellation policy, he simply took the signed papers and left. He was so focused on getting the money and pushing the product on innocent parents like me that he scarcely spent half an hour.
After that, nothing was done, and when I pushed them, they shipped the product late.
I reported a product cancellation on December 1, 2023, but as of right now, there has been no progress. They continue to call, threaten, and use fear and psychological blackmail to get us to stop using the product.
I was not happy with their response, so I have asked to return the product and subscription and get a refund as soon as possible.
Within 14 days, they were manipulating the cancellation request! in addition to Byjus! (Byjus, boast about their improbable field of education service, pushing clients to the limit!) and he had threatened that since I had obtained the product, I would be responsible for paying for it whether or not I used it.
I asked for a cancellation and refund and explained to him why I was being charged for a service that I had not used.
The Byjus marketing representative merely asked for my signature without providing any explanation regarding the cancellation policy.
Fair business practices should be followed, rather than ones that aim to fleece customers and embezzle the money of defenseless parents.
I rarely have time to visit your regional office to turn over the product because I work Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Furthermore, I live 700 kilometers away from the regional office, so I can’t ask my wife to come visit.
Therefore, I kindly ask that your team pick up the product, return the money in cash (₹.12000/or by upi [Protected]@ybl-), and pick up the product as soon as possible, along with an official letter from Byjus canceling the EMI loan.
Please forward this email to any relevant officials who may be in the know about the problem.eager to have this resolved as soon as possible.
Three or four calls a day come from the call center, claiming to be from (BYJU’s).
No matter where Byjus goes, even if they go global, they will fail and not succeed in business if this is how they make money and lead the market in the IT-enabled education sector.
Be respectful of the customer and avoid conniving them; defrauding naive parents is not a good look. Please cancel the loan and product and return Rs. 12,000 to me. I’ve been following up on this for more than a week, and I’m really frustrated right now. I won’t pay a dime until my issue is resolved.
I’m requesting that my product be canceled and my registration fee be reimbursed to the Byjus support team.
