I’m still waiting for refund. On 13 October I ordered a regular Hala taxi in Careem app at about 4:45pm from Zulekha hospital Al Nahda to Garhoud hospital and they charged me 80 aed! In the same day I ordered taxi just in the opposite direction for 35 aed only! There was no traffic in that area, it’s a lie!
I had been waiting for a driver about 30 minutes! He arrived on his personal car without camera and meter!
Another day, I ordered economy class taxi from Expo center in another Emirate Sharjah also in a peak hour even later at 5:30pm and they charged me less – 59 aed only!
Careem Help center is helpless, they just keep repeating about peak hours, it’s a lie and nonsense!
I’ll never use Careem anymore!
