I bougth a Orient watch from their site.
Big surprise when receiving the watch : I have to pay +40% of custom taxes (where as my local VAT is 20%).
Contacting customer service to ask why I have to pay more than my local VAT rate : they explained to me *afterward* how to avoid taxes. I did ask them why they did not state direction before but after the order…and I learned that their advice is not reliable as their final words are : even with taxes, the watch price they sell is a good price !!
Thus prepare to pay +40% (25% VAT (whereas my local VAT is 20%) + 15% Delivery partner fees) more than the price on their site. Moreover, the customer service has nothing todo with customer service : hope you don’t have nay wacht failure if buying with them (generic watch box with mere protection, return fees at your cost, etc.)
Better to know actual stuffs.
