I had ordered a lehenga from Ethnicize on Instagram.
They seemed to have very good collection online and I placed an order for a lehenga as it looked like party wear. The lehenga cost Rs 1910/-
After placing the order, they just sent a message telling the order is confirmed. It did not have any Order ID or any way for me to track my order status.
When I received the order, I was not satisfied with the material as it looked very cheap.
I reached out to the Ethnicize team on Instagram asking them for the process of return.
I got a reply saying there is NO RETURN and then after that, there was no response from them. I tried calling them but no one picked up. And given number is also not working.
I continuously tried contacting them on Instagram and WhatsApp
Finally, I got a response saying there is NO return and that I can replace my product with another purchase. I expressed my concern saying I don’t want another product of poor quality and that I would like my money back. Again there was no response from them.
Then I saw they were online on WhatsApp, so I started sending messages there. The person replying replied very rudely saying “There is NO RETURN. I told you on Instagram also”
After this point, the person replying on Instagram was very rude and started asking me if I have any sense.
I finally agreed to a replacement and wanted to know the details for it.
I asked two simple questions:
1. If I buy a product worth 1400, will I get the remaining amount back?
They said “NO”
2. In that case, if I buy a product worth 2500, I will not have to pay the remaining 590?
They said “How will you get an outfit for 2500 if you have paid only 1900? Are you making sense?”
And the rudeness continued. Finally, this person sent details for replacing which involved me sending the item to Ethnicize first and then paying an additional 150 for the delivery for the new item.
This company basically cheats customers with low-quality products and never responds to them when needed.
PLEASE TAKE MY COMPLAINT AS A HIGH PRIORITY ISSUE OTHERWISE SO MANY CUSTOMER WILL GET CHEATED BY THIS COMPANY.
