Filing a case in the Consumer Court
Onida 1.5 Ton Inverter INV18SGC Split Air Conditioner
Dear Sir,
I like to draw your attention on the following facts for filing the case in the consumer court on behalf of me:
On 12 June 2016, I have purchased online one set of Onida 1.5 Ton AC from Adonis Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Delhi through the Snapdeal at the cost of Rs. 36965.00. The invoice e-copy is attached with my e-mail addressed to your mail id: [email protected] on 2 August 2017 at 13:00.
A. First complaint No. 1704E536380181 lodged on 20-04-2017 and completed on 02-05-2017.
Brief on first complaint:
1. 21-04-2017: They noticed that the gas in the outdoor unit was completely used up within an abnormally advance time and left my house keeping their work undone.
2. Onida maintained totally silence till 25 April 2017.
3. 26-06-2017: I initiated over phone to the Head office, Customer Service, Mumbai.
4. 29-04-2017: They discovered that the outdoor unit is having some leakage spot.
5. 02-05-2017: They welded the leakage spot and filled the gas in the system. The AC started re-functioning with less cooling capacity after a net gap of 12 days from the date of my lodging complaint.
B. Second complaint No. 1705E536380188 lodged on 15-05-2017.
Brief on second complaint:
1. 05-06-2017: They visited after 20 days of my lodging complaint viz. 15-06-2017. Again they discovered another leakage point on the other part of the outdoor unit. They dismounted the outdoor unit and reported for replacement of the part to their authority.
2. 18-07-2017: After a net gap of 62 days of my lodging complaint viz. 15-06-2017, the Onida service men repaired the AC by replacing the defected part. The AC starts re-functioning with (a) less cooling capacity and (b) a sound-problem in the out-door unit.
Points to be noted:
1. The AC is defective and it was discovered within the warranty period.
2. The Onida management has consumed 38 days from my warranty period which has expired on 12-06-2017.
3. They have tortured me during the scorching summer.
4. Onida is not maintaining Toll-free number for customers.
5. Onida is not monitoring its servicing network to provide safe-guard to its customers.
6. My above grievances have already informed to the CEO, Onida and the Snapdeal on 05-05-2017 and 23-05-2017 respectively via e-mail.
RELIEF:
I like to get full refund of Rs. 36965.00 plus lump sum compensation.
Hope for an immediate action with an intimation to me.
