It all started with a phone call… A lady named Jyothika had called me from Gulf Infosoft DMCC and introduced herself to me as the director of Gulf Infosoft and further informed me about the services offered by Gulf Infosoft and also mentioned to me that Gulf Infosoft is primarily into providing Digital Marketing Services for SME’s in UAE and by subscribing to there Digital Marketing services I can endorse my business in Social Media and increase my sales up to 10x.

I was pretty convinced with Jyothika’s proposal to outsource Digital Marketing activities of our business to Gulf Infosoft DMCC, As a part of the process we decided to meet in at our office and discuss further, Jyothika had visited our office and explained the process and promised us that they would increase our sale up to 10 X and collected a payment of AED 6000 as a part of the overall billed amount, as per the contract the service process should be initiated within 24 hrs after the first payment completion.

Since I was busy with my work, I reached out to Jyothika on her Ph Number after 48 hours and for my surprise, it was switched off, The Gulf info soft website and there so called Dubai’s number one search engine Dubaionline.ae is still live, however I am not able to reach Jyothika or anyone from Gulfinfosoft through the given email address or ph numbers and the office address in JLT is locked, when enquired with the security I learnt that people rarely come to that office.

It was a mistake on our part that we did not do a thorough background check before we wanted to make business with the so-called company Gulf Infosoft, I am sharing my experience here in this forum so that my experience would be a learning to other folks out there.
