I had applied for the post of IBPS RRB-7 GBO Scale-2 in Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank and based on my performance in the online single Exam held on 30.9.2018 I was called for interview on 12.11.2018 at the venue – Munish Resorts bhiuli, Mandi, H.P. Accordingly, I reached the Venue for interview but was not allowed to attend interview for the post of General Banking Officer Scale-2 by the Documentation Verification Team citing reason that I do not have requisite experience of two years.
While they accepted the experience of 1 and half years of Life Insurance Corporation, they rejected the experience of more than one year of M/s Unicon Investment Solutions/Unicon Securities Private Ltd despite my request that it is also a financial organization which they should
also consider.
In the above context my grievance is that I had applied for the post on the basis of requisite qualification and experience required for the post as stipulated vide at Para –5 of the Advertisement. Under the Column Experience the requisite experience for the post was mentioned as Two years as an Officer in a Bank or financial institution.
My grievance is that when IBPS has not categorically mentioned in the Advertisement which financial institution in the public or private sector should be taken in to account for consideration of experience acquired by a candidate then why my candidature was rejected for attending the interview.
IBPS is not taking any responsibility saying it is not a matter of their concern and you should talk to concerned bank. It is, therefore, requested that my grievance may kindly be redressed immediately as turning me back from interview has shocked me deeply and as such I seek justice.
