ICONIC TRAVEL = FRAUD COMPANY (PLS READ THE REVIEW IN DETAIL TO AVOID SUCH SCAMS) Trip Date – 24th Dec’22 to 1st Jan’23 Destination – Uttarakhand (Nainital, Kausani, Auli, Rishikesh, Mussorie) (08 Nights 09 Days) (6 Peoples)
Agent Name – Amit Jaiswal aka Thapa(this guy has multiple names), Renu Agarwal (BOTH ARE FRAUDSTERS) Agents Contact Details – Amit aka Thapa , Renu Agarwal On 10th Sep we paid initial amount where the total PACKAGE COST was (119,700 INR) with 5% GST. (included only > 2-3 star Hotel, breakfast & car charges) On 21st Oct’22 we got a mail that our package is revised due to high season time and it was (141,750 INR) (included only > 2-3 star Hotel, breakfast & car charges).
There was no option left for us as we have already paid the advance booking, so we had to go forward with the additional 20k hike done by them. One week before the trip we have already done 80% of our payments so we had only 30k payment pending from our side and we were told that the remaining payment needs to be done to the driver. One day before the journey we were not aware about our trip driver details, we upfront had to call the Agent for getting the details and after that too one of the driver rejected and said that he could no come to pick us. After several calls this issue was settled.
On 24th Dec’22 we started with the trip, below is our feedback on hotels.
1 – Hotel Royal Rosette (Bhimtal) – Was Good but far away from Nainital (25kms)
2 – Hotel Kausani Retreat (Kausani) – Was the worst hotel, toilet, rooms & location were the worst part. Check the attachments for photos.
3 – Hotel Sai Dham in Joshimath – Was also worst hotel with no basic amenities.
4 – Hotel Vedas Tapovan in Rishikesh – Was the best from all
5 – Hotel City Castle in Mussoorie – Was also the worst and somewhere in the corner far away from main location (old mussorrie)
We were mostly give left out rooms without any views and all. In one of the Hotel i.e. in Joshimath on 28th Dec’23, we were kept on hault by the Hotel staffs during the checkout time for around 3 hrs as the Hotel Payment was not done by the Iconic Travel.
Also in the initial package we got our 31st was supposed to be at Rishikesh and then on 1st Jan return to Mumbai, but our travel agent told us that Rishikesh will be far away destination from Delhi Railway Station, so he told us to go for Mussorrie for our 31st night (In Rishikesh on new year eve the room charges were high so we were asked to change the plan).
On 1st Jan we packed our self for the return journey while there was another big problem waiting for us from the Agency side. The Driver was not ready to drop us at Delhi Railway station as the Iconic Travel had not done his payment of 8k. We were haulted in between the journey and for long time…our train time was 4.30 Pm towards Mumbai.
We called Travel Agent (Fraud) so he we asked him “Sir driver ka payment kr do usne hame rukakr rkha hai” so we got word from him that “thike dekhte hai” this guys hardly bothered so we him to look into this promptly…after this there was an heated argument between us and the travel agent as we were already out of patient, and the final words of that agent were “Nhi karenge payment driver ko, apko jo krna hai voh kr lena”
Even on our last day of our journey we were give mental harassment by the ICONIC TRAVEL (FRAUD COMPANY). One request is surely will do that pls go through their negative reviews, we you’ll get clear picture about the company. PLS GO THROUGH EACH ATTACHMENTS IN THIS REVIEW FOR THE PROOFS AND VIDEO RECORDING TOO. SO CAUTION BEFORE PLANNING A TRIP WITH THIS COMPANY.MEANWHILE WE HAVE ALREADY PLANNED TO FILE A LEGAL CASE AGAINST THIS COMPANY.
