I had one of the worst online shopping experiences with JantaCart.com, and I want to warn others before they fall into the same trap. This company is fraudulent, unethical, and clearly running a scam disguised as an e-commerce business.
I placed an order through their website and made an online payment of ₹8,200 upfront. That amount included the product cost along with some shipping and application fees of ₹400. After paying, I was told to wait for the dispatch. But then came the real nightmare.
They made me wait for 15 days with absolutely no delivery update. During this time, I tried contacting their so-called customer service through calls, WhatsApp, and email – but received no proper response. The phone was either switched off or constantly ignored. No professional communication, no tracking details, nothing at all.
After 15 days of silence, they shamelessly reached out and demanded an extra ₹1,980 as “token money” in order to process the shipment. This demand was never mentioned anywhere during checkout or in their order policy. It was clearly a trick to extort more money from me after I had already paid.
When I refused to pay this surprise amount and asked for a refund, they again disappeared – no response, no action. It has been weeks now and I haven’t received any refund of my ₹8,200. They continue to ignore my follow-ups and haven’t provided a single valid reason or timeline for returning my money.
They are fraudsters taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. They showcase products at attractive prices, take advance payments (plus hidden charges like shipping, application, and later token fees), and then delay or refuse delivery. It’s a classic case of online scamming.
Please stay away from JantaCart.com. This is not a legitimate business. They are exploiting people and getting away with it. I am mentally stressed and financially affected, and I hope no one else suffers this kind of fraud.
If you’ve faced something similar, I urge you to report them on consumer complaint websites, cybercrime portals, and review platforms like Trustpilot and Voxya. These scammers must be stopped.
