Jumia Work.
Hi. I was assigned a tutor to help me with submitting my orders. I paid for 10 percent commission with the mind that I’d get enough money from it without too much asked from me. Yet I kept getting orders that required I paid huge amounts of money. I paid until it got to a point that I couldn’t pay this amount I was being asked to top up. The rule is if you pay a large sum of money you can get larger commissions. I did not want too much. Yet, I got orders instructing that I pay 1,000, 2,000, 7,000. I wasn’t going to be able to pay that amount. So I pleaded with the person. I knew that you could ask for a loan if you couldn’t pay, and that Jumia would give you your money but take 15% off. I got nothing. This person said I had to complete the orders without withdrawal I agreed. They also said if I needed a loan I had to complete the eighth order out of nine orders and get the loan. A loan is supposed to help you when you don’t have money. How was I supposed to keep putting in money when I didn’t even have money to get the loan on the first place? I kept pleading, but they were sorely unhelpful. So very unhelpful. They kept telling me they would delay my orders so I could get money to pay, but I’d made it clear so many times that I’d run out. I didn’t have a single dime on me. I still don’t. I can’t get my money back. All I want is my money back. All that I put into that Jumia Work account. I don’t even want the commissions. I just want all the money I put in back. I didn’t even know their name. Not even a phone number. They are supposed to be customer care but they were zero help. All I know is the name on the chat was Mushirah.
