KLEAN BASKET (https:// kleanbasket.com/) is a fraudulent company. They took 57,000 rupees from me in the name of a franchise. Initially, they promised over the phone that if the business didn’t start, they would refund all the money, take back the machine and chemicals, and also return the associated funds. They also claimed that they would assist me in hiring manpower. However, once they took the entire 57,000 rupees, they provided no help. They wanted my business to fail so they could keep all the money. They made me sign an agreement stating that the security deposit would not be refunded if I quit the business before 8 months. However, the owner of the company did not sign the agreement, only I did. I asked them several times for a copy of the agreement with the owner’s signature, but they refused to provide it. They stopped answering my calls and whenever I managed to reach them, they said they were busy and would talk later.
My business never started. Now, after 8 months, they called and said that since I didn’t start the business, they were canceling the agreement. They sent me an email asking for my acceptance, stating that they would transfer a complimentary payment of 2,700 rupees for 15 days’ salary of an employee into my account and would collect the machine and chemicals. However, they mentioned that the security deposit would not be refunded. I replied to the email, but they neither sent the 2,700 rupees nor collected the machine and chemicals. They have also stopped answering my calls and refused to provide any assistance. They are a highly fraudulent company that is deceiving hardworking individuals and taking their money. They speak very nicely until they receive the 57,000 rupees, but once they have it, they stop responding and provide no help. They make you sign all the agreements without the owner’s signature and later refuse to provide any documents for evidence, making it difficult to take legal action against them. They have come up with a new way to legally rob people of their money.
