I got a call from an unknown person claiming that I can use my ICICI credit card reward points to get cash.
They instructed me to check the details on the imobile app, and when I couldn’t find anything, they asked me to activate my redemption account and sent me a link.
I completed the card information on the given link to activate the account. My account was debited by INR 101594 as soon as I entered the OTP.
This is a very serious issue, so before entering any OTP, we must verify the information.
