I have ordered 7 homedecor items worth rs 693 on medecornew.myshopify.com on 21st Feb. it was told in website that it will ship next day but after waiting of 4 days there is no update on my message.
I checked today on 24th Feb now order confirmation link says store unavailable. I am not sure what kind of verification is performed by myshopify before allowing anyone to sell their product.
It will create bad image of myshopify in customer mind and genuine merchant may face issue. After waiting for 10-15 mins I got confirmation message of my order and strange thing is they asked us to enter either mobile no or mail id.
Usually for any other website we have to mandatory enter both. I got confirmation too from payu that Transaction No. ****** for Rs 693.00 done for MANU MAHATO has succeeded from payu team.
I request myshopify team to look into this issue on priority basis otherwise such people can create more fake pages and use it to fool people. I am ready to provide all details if needed if it solves my issue.
I have also escalated this issue on twitter account of Shopify and email id.
