I have newly joined the najm credit card and have a very bad experience from buying the card from sales man to uptill now. At the time of selling this card sales man convinced me that there is 10% cash back on the najm cash back card on whatever amount you spend. When I asked how can it be 10% on this card because 10% cash back sounds very good and there must be other limitations for getting this cash back. Then he said you have to spend 26 transactions and each transaction should be at least AED 50. I said that’s it. And no other limitation. He said no. Except you have to pay AED 300 for annual charges. I said ok I will search for the card and will get back to you if I found ok. On next day morning he called back and said that plz buy the card it’s good for you and after continuous calls I said i have not researched about your card as I did not have time when I will do it I will get back to you definately but after his continuous calls and force I said ok I am going to buy it.
I received the card and started using as per the sales man described the card usage limitations . And I made around 26 transactions above aed 50 in that month as I was expecting 10% cash back but when I saw the statement I was given AED116 as cash back in that month on usage of about AED 8000 with 25 transactions above aed50.
I was surprised and called customer service after waiting for more than an hour on call I got connected with customer service and they said that there is a slab system that if you make transactions from 1 to 5 you will get 1% cash back if you spend between 6 to 10 transactions you will get 2% and so on. A very complicated system. So this was new thing for me at that time.
After listening all these I called that sales man and asked for this that why did you not informed me about this slab system before. He did not responded on that rather he spoke with me in bad manners and said, my job was to sell the card which I have done now its between you and the company I am not responsible for any such things, call najm customer services and make a complain of me.
So, I am continuously making complaints but did not get any solution. I totally spent about AED 8000 in that month and I received 116 as cashback currently I have 4 other credit cards from other banks of Abu Dhabi. Out of which I am getting 5% cash back on FGB credit card on that wether I make transaction of AED 1 or AED 20, 000 I get 5% on every transaction.
So in that way I lost handsome amount of money just for buying NAJM product.
Firstly, if I would have spend this AED 8000 on fgb credit card I would have received 5% of 8000 = aed 400 in that month which I did not as I spend on najm.
Secondly Annual fee of AED 315 which I paid for najm card as there was no annual fees on fgb card that I am using.
and what received in was AED116 as cash back from Najm in that month so I lost AED 715 in that month.
I request them to please give any solution for this loss. Because company has received benefit of AED 315 as annual charges from me and sales man also got his commission while selling me that card only I as being your customer was in loss.

After continuous calls they never gave any solution rather asked me to close/block the card and do not call us again.
I did not give up and tried calling because it was my loss. One day najm abu dhabi branch maketing manager called me and asked me come to office we will discus and sort out the issue in front of that sales man and finalize it. I agreed and took 2hour off from my job and went their with my husband. Then he said the sales man is not here and we can discuss, it sounds that he didnt want his sales man in front of us. After continuous discussion on the matter he did not agree and did not gave any solution every time he was saying that leave this matter as this is not a big amount that you lose only AED 700. I said why I leave this amount we are working hard to save money and you guys come and fraud us. So, that meeting was totally waste of time.
That manager name was Atif Sultan.
So, I am still not been given any valid reason as customer services has been told by their head not to take complain or not to entertain this customer.
I suggest every one please not to go for najm credit card as they have the tactics to fool you and you will not be able to do any thing and loose your money.
