Dear all student and their parents www.nsbindia.org We are student who are studying 2012-2014 batch NOW IN last 4rth semester in NATIONAL SCHOOL OF BUSINESS BANGLORE JP NAGAR 2ND PHASE BANGLORE( BENGLURU). We all are north indian students. Initially we enrolled in this college in 2012 we thought its under govt body like AICTE and UGE but when we came to know this it is not under any such type of govt. Body then we got shocked. We are still studying in this National School Of business Bangalore(Bengluru) JP Nagar 2nd phase. This college is bogus and running without authority. National School of business offers PGPM + MBA of Mysore University and Bharthiar University which is totally useless. Because there is no use of their college degree especially PGPM . many people do not know in Banglore that where is National School of Business and even people itself in JP Nagar: ( Here is bad experience about Internships we all were facing so many problems in 3rd semester .Placement is so very very bad. Our senior who have passed they told us “You people did big mistake by joining this college” because NSB they do not put efforts for placements. Even we came to know ‘ in NSB Inida.org nobody come here for campus placements and its really very true. Administration is also very bad. We people suggest you to the students and their parents please be careful before joining this type of college.they tell you all good things and try to convince you but don’t go into their trap. They ‘ll tell you it’s in top 25 B-School and foreign university tie-ups etc…laabhh ….laabhh.!! so please stay out of this kind of college. Boys Hostel is too bad except girls hostel and mainly food quality is very very worst.i.e. breakfast you all will gt upma and curd rice in dinned you ll get curd rice again..watery rasam rice, cheap quality papad.Don’t waste your money here .we are still repent don’t know what to do.because we are studying yet and feeling like we are wasted our money here. but now we dont have an option but we are in full stress. Note 4 important things before joining B-school: 1.it must be AICTE approved 2.it must be ranked by top magazines/newspaper like The Hindu, Times of India, Economic Times etc or top classes like T.I.M.E, Career launcher, etc. 3.There must be CAMPUS PLACEMENTS 4.Only universities comes under the UGC body but they’ll tell their college is UGC approved. Please try to understand UGC body applies only to the universities.

I have gone through the contents of this post. I must say that this NOT done by our student at all. The whole world knows that NSB stand to represent certain values and our students enjoy being part of the community. THIS MUST BE A POST BY SOMEONE WHO is trying to tarnish the image of the institution for competitive reasons. We are willing to provide hundreds of evidences to prove that this post is an act of jealousy.
1. The post says University MBA is useless. The question is what else is USEFUL?!
2. They say PGPM is useless. But the fact is all placements (100%) happens only based on PGPM. It is designed by industry-academic experts. Very contemporary, skill-based and is endorsed by industry bodies. What is the basis to say that it is useless when all have gotten placements based on this certification.
3. Hostel Food – The menu is decided by students. They decide what they want to eat and hostel committee foresees the food quality. NSB understands the cosmopolitan nature of students admitted here. No doubt we serve curd rice and some students love it. Those who do not want eat roties and chapaties. Since there is NOTHING MORE SERIOUS to talk about someone is talking about universal dinner menu – Curd rice. Tell me, who does not like curd / curd rice ? It is just an individual choice.
4. Placements – NSB has all the records of placements. Someone who is interested can come to NSB and verify all the records. I will personally show all the records that are available. It is true that our students are today employed in world-class companies. Placements at NSB is not a seasonal activity. Our corporate relations cell works round the clock and look at the profile of our corporate advisor. Our corporate advisor is the highly connected individual who was also the former president of NHRD and NIPM.
5. All ranking statistics mentioned are based on prestigious publications. Validation for all these facts is uploaded on our website.
IF THIS WAS A BALANCED OPINION, the person should have included at least one good point about NSB. Any one who has experienced NSB can not but stop appreciating the quality of inputs, brilliant industry-interphase and successful internationalisation through exchange programs. Competition must sit up and work hard.
PLEASE TALK TO OUR REAL STUDENTS ON FACEBOOK. Google our Facebook community, chat with some student at random…hear what they say. That is the best means to know more about NSB, its values, and accomplishments. Good luck.
Professor Sridhar Murthy, it is true that the everything that the above students have written is not factually correct. However , it is very clear that the students are indeed from National School of Business. Why will a competing institution waste time and write here for a college which is not well known at all? In fact what you are writing is false information. You are lying to applicants that we got 8 lakh package. I have interacted with an applicant from Tamil Nadu who has said that during telephonic interview authorities bluffed that we got 8 lakh package, 100% placements, return on investments, student exchange program for everyone, all fake and exaggerated information.
Can you upload evidence of placement records here in public? Along with evidence from the respective company and who that candidate was ? Can you be a bit more transparent? And who said students are employed in World-Class companies? You are the one who is lying. Not the students who have written this complaint. And they are indeed students of National School of Business. I was the best student of my batch and probably the best student in the history of nsb because you just want to fill seats regardless of the quality of the student.
And ranking statistics can definitely be biased. The magazine never sends any team for inspection. So please stop brainwashing the public. You are crossing limits. Please be a bit ethical and please don’t backstab students. You are in fact committing a kind of a crime. You could be take to Consumer Court at Double Road, Wilson Garden, Bangalore.
But I do admire your communication skills and sense of confidence.
Professor Sridhar Murthy, in so many years of your life you haven’t yet understood how this system functions? Are we students of National School of Business or are we consumers of National School of Business? You should realise that we are in fact consumers of National School of Business but in the context of an educational college we become students and you become teacher. You are in fact a service provider, and we are consumers and you are selling education in the marketplace just like all other colleges are doing including IIMs and we are buyers of education. And all colleges are competing amongst themselves including IIMs because it is a competitive market economy. If economic system changes, then all these relationships and roles will also change. If you have any issues why the system is designed like this ask top economists this question. They will answer you. But so long as we are consumers we have consumer rights and consumer is king and you should do things so that we have consumer satisfaction and experience consumer delight. I am using all technical language which is there in Philip Kotler Marketing Management Book.
During all these 50 years of your life you never realised this or what?????? The same applies to doctors. We are not patients, we are consumers of healthcare. In the context of a hospital we become patients and he becomes a doctor. So if we feel that we are cheated or betrayed, because you betray students a lot we can approach consumer court double road, wilson garden. You will have to refund some amount of the money we paid to you. I am not paying money so that you come to college in a luxurious Renault Duster. I am paying you money for good quality education and other services you promised in brochures and website. So you should ensure that you provide that.
Whatever I am writing is applicable to IIM Bangalore as well. In fact IIM Bangalore has no justification to price their educational services at 20 Lakh. Even they use the same Philip Kotler, stephen robbins etc. etc. Because public is a fool and is not aware this continues to happen. Very few people in public understand economics.
So coming back to the main point. We are consumers. Also you shouldnt dominate other members of the Governing Council in decision making process and be hungry for power and position just because you are the President. You mentioned Ex-President of NHRD and NIPM. Please mention his name at least. Mention that he is Dr. D.R. Nagaraj who is more experienced than you and probably would be a thousand times better President than you. Where is his credentials, connections and calibre and I am sorry to say, where is yours….. But you definitely have much much better communication and confidence level.
Also internalize one important fact. Humanity is in the midst of The Fourth Industrial Digital Revolution. Anything and everything that can be digitized will become digitized. You have no option but to become as transparent as possible otherwise you will get caught very very easily. And when you get caught you will lose credibility . That won’t be good. That in fact would be worse. The internet is a revolutionary technology which is changing every aspect of society. You have to change your behaviour. It is making your behaviour obsolete. Heirarchy is crumbling because of internet. Your behaviour is obsolete. 15 year old teenagers are becoming highly informed and knowledgeable just by sitting infront of YouTube.
Dear Prof. Murthy,
In Facebook page of National School of Business why are you uploading fake placement figures of 2015-16 batch. The salary packages are fake. And many companies listed will not come to National school of business at all. You will not end your corrupt practices. Just before 2017 admission posting fake information about placements. You should be taken to the police or consumer court. Should we contact the company you have listed and verify??? If they come to know that you are listing names of their companies without their knowledge and approval then they will sue you. Why are you cheating the public and society?? And why did you block me from commenting in Facebook page of National School of Business. This clearly proved that you are committing fraud.
Prof. Sridhar Murthy,
Why are you trying to salvage your image by giving recommendations to ex -students in LinkedIn???? 🤔 It is now an established fact that you are a big big Fraud. All students know about this. Don’t act sly. Please step down as President of National school of business and allow someone else to be the President. I will be filing a consumer complaint against you at Bangalore Consumer Court for not providing promised placement opportunities which is why many people joined National School of Business. Otherwise we could have chosen some other college. Don’t engage in extreme unethical marketing activities.
