I normally exclusively see movies at Paragon City Center 12, but my experience yesterday was extremely frustrating. I had pre-purchased tickets for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 back on April 9th. I had selected prime seats in the middle of the Extreme Atmos Theater for the 12:30pm showing on May 7th. We arrived at the theater, got our concessions, and proceeded to our seats at 12:15pm. The movie had already started at 12:00pm!!! I went to the customer service desk, and they said that I should never had been able to buy those tickets I had, even though I had the printed confirmation page from the Paragon website. They did refund the ticket price back to me, however, and gave us free tickets to another showing. But the only other available showing for the movie that afternoon with 5 seats together was an hour later, and in the front row of a smaller theater. We had to wait an hour for crappy seats to a movie event my family had planned for over a month. All the customer service manager could tell me was the mix up was a website issue, and they have no control over that. I am extremely frustrated that the website sold me tickets to the wrong showtime. I understand that showtimes might change, but the site has my email address when I purchase the tickets. I should have been notified of the time change. I’m not sure if I can trust this theater to properly reserve my seats for the next big movie I want to pre-purchase tickets for, especially when there are other theaters in the area that offer reserve seating and ticket pre-order. You might have just lost a loyal customer.
