I received a call from a female called Anjana, She said she is from Quiker and her company has a project from a France company (That was the first red flag- she said France com. not French company. which shows she is not well educated).
My mistake, I didn’t think much of it at that time. She said the job is conversion. jpeg to pdf and again I thought. who would want this..? To my query she explained. This company has online books.
So they want these to be in pdfs. There would be links. you just need to download. convert and then upload. My God, the meticulous way this female explained the whole process.
How to give attendance each day, how to send these files and she send a training video. the rules and regulations. They were almost perfect. Just almost. The rate per page is Rs.66/- and the total page is 960 and I will get Rs.63,360/- Oooooh who wouldn’t want that ?
She calls in between to take a survey..!! well done !! By10th day I finished the 12 day work..she said Quality Report in 72 hrs. After that the real carrot stick was : The “SPINMEONCE” !!!
She was so sincere in telling me. Please don’t scold me if you don’t get anything etc etc. And voila. I WON. a laptop. She calls and congratulates and says never before anyone from her team had ever won anything and she also benefits in a way so wow.
She puts up a video of unwrapping the laptop, as quality check. another video of another female thanking the team for winning MacBook. what great planning and acting.
So the salary is released. Rs.56,891/- !! My rate is 96.66%. The next thing is to get my salary I need Google Pay, PayPal or PhonePe. Ok I get that. Next is I get a PDF , again badly designed and the funny thing is.
I need to pay Rs.8616/- as my TDS !!!!!!! What a joke. When I don’t reply or react. This female calls and says. This is the minimum amount you have to keep in your wallet.
I had had enough. So I gently asks her Anjana. You do know about the reports of these scams on the net, right dear ? And she says..No No this is from Quiker HO.
And I just tried to explain to her No genuine reputed co will be like this dear. grow up or better your game. After that No msgs. No SMS. No calls. Hmm I think she and her team is looking for another poor soul to cheat.
