I am writing this letter on behalf of my client to formally report sustained mental harassment and emotional abuse by Ms. Shweta Katavakar over the past four years. The nature of her conduct has severely impacted my client’s mental health and well-being.
Key Allegations:
1. Repeated Emotional Blackmail:
Ms. Katavakar is alleged to have emotionally manipulated my client on numerous occasions, including threats of filing false legal cases (such as a rape allegation) and using personal or sensitive matters to coerce behavior.
2. Manipulation Through False Narratives:
She is reported to have falsely claimed traveling from Mysuru to Pune under emotional pressure and used such claims to gain sympathy or extract compliance.
3. Invasion of Privacy:
Ms. Katavakar allegedly hired a private investigator to follow or extract information about my client without consent.
4. Financial Exploitation:
Over the course of the relationship, my client has reportedly spent approximately ₹4.5 lakh under pressure or emotional manipulation. Despite this, he continued to be subjected to verbal abuse and disrespect, even in front of her acquaintances.
5. Obstruction to Education and Growth:
She reportedly interfered with my client’s academic or career focus by constantly demanding outings, emotional attention, and companionship, often at the cost of his professional development.
6. Psychological Impact:
As a result of the sustained emotional strain, my client has been clinically diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is undergoing therapy. The effects of this mental trauma continue to significantly affect his daily life.
Request for Action:
We request a thorough investigation into this matter by relevant legal or psychological authorities. If deemed appropriate after due process, we urge action in accordance with applicable law to prevent further harm—either to our client or others who may be subjected to similar experiences.
We believe this case also highlights a broader societal issue that deserves public awareness and objective media attention.
