On March 2, 2022, I received a call from someone addressing The Park Priviera inviting us to a romantic dinner and outlining the hospitality services they offer. The sales representatives Miss Sneha and Mr. Subhendhu (Sales Head) gave us a demonstration of the package and provided information about the partnerships with 4 star hotels and lodging anywhere in the world. We were persuaded and chose to purchase the package for INR 49, 000 with an annual EMI of INR 8,000 to be paid at the time of lodging. Every year, the package included 7 days and 8 nights, for a total of 21 days over the course of three years. Any tour or vacation request must be made 7 to 10 days prior to the date of travel and must be sent via mail to the company’s reservation and CRM department. The address in Kolkata that is listed on their website is false; there is no office present there.
We have decided to purchase this package and have agreed to pay INR 10,000 with the balance being paid the following day. The following day, Sneha and Manish Mahto visited us at home and collected the payment using a card reader. They promised that the kit would arrive in a week and contain all the information via mail. They also gave us a money receipt and a brochure for The Park Priviera.
Additionally, whenever I have attempted to book a vacation, they have informed me that I have requested a date 45 days earlier than the date of booking, even though the sales representative never informed me of this. I made several attempts to contact Sneha, Subhendu, and customer service, but nobody ever returned my calls or returned my emails, and eventually they stopped doing both.
I tried to make reservations for other locations, but each time they gave me an excuse and never delivered the star hotel they had promised. When I voiced my concerns to Sneha, Subhendu, and other team members of this company, they stopped responding, claiming that they had left the company, and they began to argue with me, telling me that I was “trapped and could do nothing now.” They also argued that no one could do anything to them.
As a woman, I would like to ask the legal and law enforcement systems in my country to assist me in getting my money back and terminating my membership with this business. and should pursue them aggressively so they stop defrauding innocent people.
