I had applied at xiphias for quebec immigration proccess (Canada) in jan-2015. Before applying, xiphias has arranged a meeting with the manager mr: varun singh and he assured me that the duration of processing will be up to 3 to 4 years max. It has been around 4 years but still i have to wait minimum of 2 more years. Moreover, he told me that the required ielts score is 6 in each band to apply for express entry and i scored 6.5 overall. But, they have changed these words after my ielts exam and argued that these are some problems with the canadian government and they can’t do anything
When i went to the office last year, i got the information that if i get 6 in each band in ielts again the processing will be fasten and i can switch to express entry as my ielts result has got expired otherwise i have to get any offers from canada. This time i scored 7 overall in ielts. Also, they told me that they will mail me a couple of links to get offer letter easily. Unfortunately, they didn’t mail me any links and the information they provided me was totally wrong which i came to know later, to get ita, i have to score l-8, r-7, w-7 & s-7. Hence, i have cross checked with some other agencies and verified this. They confirmed 6 in each band is enough to become eligible, but to get ita sooner the above mentioned score is necessary. Later when i had word with the xiphias staff, she accepted it was their mistake and apologised to me for providing wrong information but, it was too late
Last week, when i went to xiphias in order to discuss regarding the cancellation of the programme, since there is a huge mistake from their side and i have completely lost trust in the agency and work, as well as there are some changes in processing and again i have to wait for a longer period,, mrs: nanditha and ms: neethu antony asked me to give them a detailed mail and they will reply with in 2days. But there was no response to my email from their side.
On[protected], i went to the office after 5 days of useless waiting in order to meet mr: varun singh with whom i had the discussion before starting the process, she send back me and told me that to meet mr: varun i have to take an appointment. I’ve sent emails twice but still they haven’t replied for my appointment request (Please note, before starting the processing it took hardly 10minuts to get an appointment with mr. Varun)
Altogether, i have decided to cancel the processing and requested to refund my complete amount (1.5lacks) back. But they said that it is not possible which is directly opposite to mr: varun’s promise before starting the process. They started ignoring my emails now
Please advise how to get refund. Your advice is highly appreciated.
