I received a call from person named- Anish on 28th March, 2019 saying “I am calling from 24 Shopping bazaar, we will provide you 10% to 20% discount on all your purchases via credit card, debit card, or all cash purchases of any bank. Cashback will be credited to my account when the bill of the purchase is submitted. Along with this one welcome complimentary kit will be received which contains branded shoes + branded slippers + 3 pair branded socks + 1 couple watch.
For this cashback I need to pay taxes right now which is total Rs. 6000 for 12 Months period which will be converted into EMI after I recieve the parcel. I said I am ready to do this.
I asked him that I have seen many complaints on the consumer forum about the company. His manager (Mr. Sahil Diwan, Senior Manager) talked to me and said there is nothing to worry. Customers complains but we do our best to resolve there problem.
He said I need not to pay anything this will get converted into EMI and it will get waiver in every month credit card bill cashback month wise for 12 Months.
He made me to accept it. I said okay.
After all this discussion, I made the payment and asked him to convert it into EMI but he said no sir you need to pay taxes right now it will be converted into EMI after I recieve the parcel and then it will get waived on monthly basis.
He made me to accept. Total Rs. 6000 deducted.
Finally I received the welcome Kit which is fake and one shopping bazaar coupon book. I complained on it but they said I can exchange the items if I’m not happy. I asked what if I recieve a fake parcel again. To which I got a reply saying, they’ll call me back and no callback was received. And for return also, I’ve to send the package to them at my cost.
I was told that I can shop from any shop online or offline for which I’ll be eligible for cashback. But in there booklet it’s written that the shopping must be done from there website only.
Customer care people said I need to send the bill hard copy via courier to Delhi address (To- ANK Business solutions, C134, Second Floor, D/S, Ramesh Nagar, new Delhi. Pincode: 110015) for cashback.
I lost total Rs. 6000. Also I’ve to pay extra taxes to Credit card for converting that 6000 rupees into EMI.
This is huge big headache, complained and fought a lot but still issue not resolved please help me.
