On amazon India several sellers are selling USB DVD Writers for dirty cheap Rs 800 to 1000.
They say it belongs to brands like Hyripe, Beva, Laurensory, Cezo, RTS, Haiway, Sancy and what not!
The thing is there’s no such brand name written anywhere on the product.
The box only says Pop up mobile external DVD writer and nothing else. These are Made in China and practically unbranded.
Moreover the product says USB 3.0 but my experiments reveal that it’s actually USB 2.0 even though it has 9 pins. The remaining 5 pins connect nowhere!!
While the product is working okay and for some it has failed in days, the quality is overall questionable and providing false info on the amazon product page constitutes cheating.
Buyers be aware.
