I am karamjit Singh from Amritsar basically, and now newly shifted to Pathankot, hired a house in ram Sharnam colony Pathankot . i am working in HDFC bank. I shifted my gas account to city gas agency distributor code 37-01-6812 Saili Bye Pass Road, Pathankot – 145001. After one of my Indane cylinder got empty I thought to refill it , I called many times to book my gas over telephone, but they never picked up the phone, on my visit , I called in front of them and I noticed the ringer has been put on silent mode. While asking the same to the lady in front she said phone is dead, I picked the receiver and it was working and someone was speaking about the same problem of not picking on the phone from other side. I asked the same the whole staff (2 ladies and one man) sitting in the room started shouting at me. The lady (who gives the slips from taking out from computer) is the rudest lady I have ever seen in my life. They have made their own rules like only one member can come inside at a time , I understand , no rush no hustle, but there is no shed outside, where should people stand when it’s raining or in summers when heat/humidity is on its max. However after all this drama i made the payment in another room, and was advised to pick my cylinder and go to godown, i picked my cylinder and put it in godown for which I walked like 100 steps and lifted a refilled cylinder from truck (parked inside) the cylinder was leaking gas, I asked the person who was in trucks backside to change it, he first augmented about the same but later gave me another one, out of 7 cylinders 6 were leaking. I took the seventh and came out with any help i have to pick up the cylinder it was quite heavy, the agency holder doesn’t take the responsibility to appoint person to help if we are giving this huge amount for cylinder, for me it’s ok, I am young I can lift what about the others person I saw who were old like 65-70 years old or more.
