And to the other loyal customers like me, and a to your future clients.
Im one of your loyal clients who never failed to pay my dues on date. March 2016 I got my dubai first credit card, I started on 15k aed credit limit, now after almost 1 year and 4 months I am enjoying 30k aed credit limit, until july 2. Last june sales representatives has been calling me non stop offering cash loans, and smart loans this easy payment plans with minimum.99 interest. I spoked to ms. Cristina who has been so lovely by the way, giving me suggestion how I can make a smart plan, on the june 28, I mentioned to her that I am out of my job already since last year may 2016 (2 months after I get the card) I wasnt aware that in terms of un employment I need to inform them because it will automatically blocked my card. She informed me that she cant process my smart loan since I changed my status from employment to “housewife visa”. On the other hand I am paying dubai first minimum 2800 aed a month or up to 5000 aed a month. Sometimes im reaching to 8000 depends on the season.
I used to put the bills, house rent, groceries on my card to gain points and soon will be able to avail or redeem thus lovely offers they have been advertising. Any way to make the story short, by then june 27 to 28 I was already aware that I cannot take smart loan since I have a big purchased for the month of may around almost 18k aed and need to settle 12k on the 6th of july. I do prepare my cash as usual. On june 30th thursday between 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm theres your staf mr erick from dubai first sales department called me, asking and convincing me the same offer (Smart loan for my purchase) I do informed him that I am now on my husband visa and I spoke to his colleagues from dubai first also that theres such a policies, by his sales talk he told me that “it is okey” I even clarified it over the phone (please I am insisting to listen on our conversation) and stil he said that its all fine since I am a good payer client. I told him that I will get back on him or give me a call on saturday he told me that “ma’am can you confirmed it to me by today because you know its end of the month so I can put it on my sales’ so I know that maybe he wants to meet his quota/target by june then again I told him,”okey go ahead but I am not employed and you told me that I wont be a problem. And confirmed it to me 100% its okey.
By saturday I followed up and he said that its on process on sunday it was approved. July 2 a again one of your staff name noel called me telling me that my loan has been cancelled and I need to pay the full amount by 6th. I was shocked and looking for your staff erick, ive been trying to reached him but his not attending anymore of my call ive stayed like 2 to 3 hours calling the customer service to know the status and full details of my cards. They have informed me that it was blocked!!! I was getting frustrated because if no one is informing me.
I make a complaint for the negligence, rudeness and unprofessional service of this men (Your staff noel and erick)
1. Mr erick has been careless sales man who just wanna meet his quota and putting me in a very difficult situation.
2. I already spent some of the money that I supposed to pay on my july 6th dues but since I was informed that my smart loan is okey so I need to put the money on some bill payment also.
3. Mr noel or even mr. Erick didnt informed me or anyone of dubai first that my card is blocked! Good I haven’t used my card as I dont want to be in a situation that I dont have cash and I use my card for dining etc.
3. They put me in a hard situation where I need to produce/gather 12thousand aed in such short period of time (july 3 to july 6) what if I didnt manage to arrange cash? This will give me penalties and other extra charges, and the amount is quit big. I never in my approx 4 years stay in uae have a problem with the banks, I do always settle credits and loan on due date.
5. Mr erick has been very unprofessional and dont know the policies of his own company, its like me as a client we usually really dont know some of the policies I know its not an excuse but this will never be an excuse for them. They must be well educated on thus terms and condition.
I am very upset and unsatisfied loyal customer here I never face such an issue on some other banks, now they blocked my card, and to add on my frustration I cannot redeem my 700 aed worth out from my 110, 000 dinar points.
All I am hearing is that
“sorry madam we have policies” sorry madam all you can do now is just keep us paying “sorry madam you cannot activate your card unless you will provide us your financial capabilities like business or if you find another job”
I was like, yes I have business and if ever I want to use any credit cards of course no way I will use your service again. Before mr. Eric called me I already prepared my docs to submit my financial capabilities to continue my card but after this very upsetting chaos?? No way I will go back and get my self your card!
I was extremely disappointed for your team, noel and erick didnt even handle me in a professional manner and no even a courtesy call from me. Eric to inform me what happened.
This is very unfair, next time if your sales man will knock or offer some credit card please educate us that once in a while there will be some sales person who will call me and he is not educated on your rules. Please inform us that you guys are hiring people who are just meeting their target as sales man! That you guys put your client in a very disappointing and shaming situation. Well this is just being honest at least to your customer
And guess what?? Until now its has not been resolve yet! Bravo and kudos to you mr. Erick and me. Noel, and if any higher management can read my post I hope that this has been addressed to you, we are here in uae, and these guys are working on behalf of dubai first, we are talking about financial and money here. You have a lot of loyal and good paying customers out there where ending up in a mess because of these kind of negligence. You guys must be accurate, particular and well aware of all your policies.
