At Lonavala, we have also been the target of the same tactics for nearly two and a half hours. Their strategy is to target couples who are traveling to Lonavala and Khandla.
In front of the Go Life Vacation guests, they will display the fact that your female partner is the lucky one for you and that she has won the gift card.
By God’s grace, they didn’t have an Amex card machine, so my card couldn’t be switched. They ended the presentation right away after I showed them about the review and turned down their offer.
They offered to scratch the card when we left the room, and as we anticipated, it was a vacation voucher that stated that you would need to pay $3999 plus GST and that you would not be able to use it on weekends or holidays.
They appeared to be entirely made up from beginning to end.
They don’t promote online membership, which makes me suspicious all the time. It appears that they deceive people by renting the hall of another hotel for a few days.
I met another guy a few kilometers away who was giving me a gift card to another business. This cheating business appears to be flourishing in Lonavala, and there are other businesses operating that are comparable to Golife.
Please be mindful and avoid them. I’ve been saved by online reviews. In order to save others, I urge those who have been defrauded or approached by these individuals to post about their experiences online.
