Iberry is betraying its customers with following :
1. Advertisement stunts:
(a) Virtual Reality feature : The phone hardware is ordinary and has no VR advantages. The VR glasses provided with the product is poorly built causes headache after 5 minutes of use. The adjustment knobs in the VR glass are inefficient in superimposing the left and right images to provide the VR effect. The phone doesn’t come with a gyroscope, so no real VR games. The power and volume buttons are wrongly positioned and always get pressed while in the VR glass casing. The phone doesn’t come with a preinstalled VR player. You need to buy one good quality player that costs extra.
(b) The BT watch is not good even for amateurs as the data captured by phone is very erratic. Moreover the communication between the phone and the watch happens through a beta third party app which often crashes. The lack of a proper app for storing and analysing the data generated by watch makes the watch almost useless Even cheap watches from companies like Intex are much better than this watch in all respect.
(c) Worthless BT remote : One can’t make any good use of this remote without an OEM customized UI for VR operations. Customizing android for performance by this manufacturer? Forget it.
(d) Overheating : You can use the phone for a mini- heater as its temperature crosses 50 degrees pretty easily out of no reason. IT MAY POSE SEVERE RISK TO THE USER.
(e) Worst Battery : The boastful battery capacity is an utter failure. The battery reduces suddenly to zero percent from any level( if you are lucky, you can witness the freefall from even 100 percent) and the phone gets switched off. So you seldom move without a power bank.
(f) Worstever customer support :
(i) They don’t have customer support center all over India. You have to ship it to some place where they have it at your expense.
(ii) Everything is planned : They will ask you to raise a ticket online to avail the warranty services. I was fortunate enough to be able to understand their motive while speaking to their not so trained customer care representative. It was a mistake on his part to reveal the secret of their intentions at first interaction. He told me I would require to upload photographs of my phone after raising the ticket which he later asked me to disregard. I sent the phone to Agartala customer center from Port Blair only to be informed that the warranty was void as the phone was opened which they could make by some missing sticker. That was the ultimate shock. My phone was solely handled by me. It never had a sticker at the place they demand and there was no fool would open an under warranty phone whose EMIs are still on. On writing to Iberry customer care and raising they level even to their CEO about the refusal by the customer center, they ask you to upload photographs of the phone. And then comes the swift preconceived reply, the warranty is really void because of the missing mysterious sticker. When you go back to the customer center to request them to undertake the repairs at your cost, they inform you they lack the required expertise to carryout component-level repair. They would send it to Delhi where most probably atleast the moherboard costing Rs 10000 plus the battery would have to be changed as the Delhi center don’t have time to carry out DI/DR of the sets and they believe in replacing the entire motherboard and what else… Hope that’s enough of Indian Berries to digest for now to digest.
