I placed an order for 80,000 Rs. on 8-December-2013, it was to be delivered on 26-Jan-2014. Through this period many attempts were made to contact the designer to receive updates and pictures of the dresses to ensure that it was as ordered. I was never able to get a hold of the designer NUPUR AZAD (Ludhiana), after the order was placed. I was finally able to get a hold of Nupur in Mid Jan 2014 – after countless long distance phone calls and emails, where she informed me she was nowhere close to being done, and the pictures she sent were far from what we had agreed on in the beginning. She than committed to complete the dresses by Feb 11th, and send me pictures for my confirmation. If they weren’t to my liking NUPUR agreed to a full refund (in an email). I did not hear from her till 8-Feb, in which Nupur was not able to provide any pictures – as the dresses were still not close to complete. I immediately cancelled the order and NUPUR agreed to a full refund. She then emailed me on Feb 20th stating she was going to dispatch the dresses anyway! The dresses are for my wedding in April, thus after cancelling the order I had to rush and get new dresses made (in process) from a brick and mortar shop. Nupur has been extremely unreliable, misleading, and now fraudulent. To top all of this, NUPUR would only communicate through FACEBOOK and refused to provide a contact number. Luckily I paid using credit card, so I will be filing a fraud complaint with VISA to recover my money. This whole process has been costly, time consuming and STRESSFUL. DO NOT USE INDIAEMPORIUM or NUPUR AZAD (Ludhiana).
