I had an experience at Visakhapatnam station when I have requested for current reservation, when the train is about to leave Station. Then the reservation clerk at current counter told that the Chart is prepared. My question is when the chart is prepared and communicated to the Ticket Travelling Examinors of the concerned train, we can see whow many vacancies are there in a particular bogey and can be issued tickets at current counter. The purpose of opening a current counter for reservation is that only. But the clerks at the counter simply saying that the Chart is prepared. The vacancies are being sold for a higher rate by the TTE’s, indirectly encouraging for bribery. This is not correct and the same should be checked and controlled by the Indian Railways. Further, some seats are reserved from a particular station and untill then the coaches are going with less passengers. The tickets can be sold in the current reservation counters at the coming station. It is also requested at every reservation counter, the vacancy position of the coaches should be displayed and should be known to the passengers so that they can easily known the position and can purchase from the current reservation counters.
