Indus Packers And Movers
1. I Gopal Singh serving as a Soldier in Indian Air Force for 22 Years. and have served in various parts of our nation. Being a Soldier as a Call of Duty have to serve as per the requirement of the nation. Currently I got posted to Trivandrum, Kerala form New Delhi. Being a family man had to report to unit by 27 Mar 23 with my complete household items. In view of this I booked a Packers and Movers in Gurgaon with M/s Indus Packers and Movers Pvt Ltd with address Shop No.2, Gali no.3, Ashok Vihar Phase-3, Palam Vihar, Gurgaon-122017. Mr Pawan alias Pankaj proprietor of the business contacted him for the shipment.
2. At first the quotation was given to me 45000/- + GST. The deal was agreed and in mean time Mr. Kishan Yadav, associate of Mr Pawan visited my residence at Palam, New Delhi. He made a note of items and sent a team lead by Mr Suresh for packing on 14 Mar 23. The team came with bare minimum packing material. I gave my own Cartons (marked as AMPL), Bubble paper, Brown paper Roll material for packing. Few items were not packed as the material got exhausted. I was assured by Mr. Suresh that it will be packed as the item reaches warehouse in Gurgaon and same was assured by Mr. Kishan Yadav also. I visited the warehouse in Om Vihar on 15 Mar 23 but item was still kept without packing, almost 8-10 cartons, Cooler, Computer Table and Misc small items were not packed. But I was assured before loading and movement of truck it will be done.
3. The truck was loaded on 17 Mar 23 and moved from Gurgaon and simultaneously the invoice was generated and call was received form Mr. Pawan for payment. He shared the UPI code for payment. When the invoice was checked it was for 83603/-. The difference in quotation and invoice amount was queried with Mr Pawan and the reply was amount varied due to increase in the count of luggage. The same was accepted by me and the payment was done. I requested to hold 10000/- as security and could it be paid after receipt at final destination it was straight away denied by Mr. Pawan stating “I don’t Like this type of things and I need full payment”. Keeping the dignity of my profession I paid the complete amount.
4. The invoice had a break up of amount with loading/off loading, insurance, freight charges, statistical charges and GST total sum with 83603/-. The off-loading charges at final destination was paid by me when the truck was off-loaded even after it was already paid to Mr. Pawan alias Pankaj. The Insurance of the goods was also not done till date.
5. During the course of transport, the Gurgaon truck was off loaded at warehouse in Nelmangla, Bengaluru as per the driver and re-loaded to a different truck for Kerala.

The items reached to final destination on 22 Mar 23 at 1630hrs. When the truck was opened it was found that the loading was not properly done. The packets/cartons/items were not packed. The items when off-loaded the Symphony Tower Cooler and Computer Table was not found it was Missing. When enquired it was lying in the Gurgaon warehouse only. It could be intentional to STEAL the items. It was the responsibility of Mr Pawan/Kishan to get it loaded but finding an attractive item they must have kept it for personal use. The final receipt was annotated with missing of item to the driver also.
6. As the items were checked and unpacked it was found that almost maximum items were damaged. The list is mentioned below
(i) Jawa-42 Green Color bike had dent on the tank, multiple scratches, dent on mud guard front, dent on battery case.
(ii) Whirlpool 3 Door fridge Big had Dent and damage on top at the freezer section.
(iii) Samsung semi-automatic washing machine rotor flap damaged (iv) Wooden Mandir Big broken
(v) Wooden TV cabinet damaged and broken.
(vi) Glass of TV cabinet broken
(vii) Fountain broken
(viii) 7 seater Sofa damaged and Teared at multiple places. (ix) Ceramic pots totally broken and missing.
7. I reported the same with pictures to both Mr. Pawan alias Pankaj and Kishan Yadav and at first they agreed to re-imburse the damage/repair and labour off-loading charges and send the missing items to Kerala. But after repeated calls and whatsapp messages they neglected and ignored. Now after multiple attempts to reach them they have denied for the re-imbursement and return the items which are missing. Mr Pawan has blocked my numbers on both whatsapp and phone. When I said I have to approach the authorities and take a legal action they are so reluctant and confident that authorities can not do anything to them.
8. Being a Solider of the nation the hard-earned money is paid to meet the daily requirements and fulfil the service needs. I request the authorities to look into the matter and help me and other soldiers also to be safe form this kind of vendors who cheat, steal, fraud from the people who are not local to vendor places. The only hope and support from the local authorities is the last option for me. Being a local and businessmen Mr. Pawan alias Pankaj has influence to mould the things so keeping in view of this I would request to see that he is black listed. I may be given an appropriate compensation for the damage, theft, negligence, Mental Harassment, lack of peace and fraud done to me from M/s Indus Packers and Movers Pvt Ltd.
